This beautifully restored, hand painted sideboard is a subtle statement piece that would suit a country, farmhouse or sophisticated home.

Having been restored, we then hand painted several light layers of chalky white paint to provide a lightly textured finish.

The paintwork was then very lightly distressed before three coats of wax were added for protection and to add a light sheen to the paintwork.

The wooden top, which had been finely sanded to bring the natural grain out in the wood, also received a protective coat of wax, leaving a wonderfully natural finish.

The original knobs and hinges were all removed, cleaned and polished and are in very good condition.
